Cable management

I have just upgraded my speaker package along with speaker cable.
My old system was installed when the floor was up so the old speaker cable was easy to hide but now not so easy without totally re decorating the living room!
Does anyone know of anything on the market that is designed to hide cables along the skirting board that looks descreet enough to keep the wife happy?
At the moment she is not happy about all the pink cable visable around the room and I hav'nt seen anything that looks descent enough to hide them.
