I have a Panasonic projector which accepts a component signal from my Rotel DVD player. Does anyone know how many metres this cable can be before the signal is compromised? Sorry if this has been asked before.

    Thanks

A long way using reasonable quality cable.

Component is what they use for TV cameras and I'd guess in studios they have runs into many 10's of metres.

Certainly in a home enviroment 10-20m is no problem!
