Hi, i'm new to this site so firstly hi to everybody.

    My set-up is:

I've a Pioneers AX5i receiver and my speakers are MA Silver 10i Centre and the rest are MS, 906 fronts, MS 903 surrounds & MS 902 surrounds back.

I'm using Monitor Audio Pureflow speaker cable for the front 3 speakers and Audio Innovations Ultra Micro for the surround 4 speaker

So finally my question is with gold plated connectors on the Receiver and the Speakers and i'm using silver speaker wire does it make a difference about gold or silver banana plugs?

It's a toss up between €80 for silver plugs or €46 for gold plugs to do all my speakers, is it worth it would i hear any difference.

    Hi Paddy,
I wouldn't spend more than £3.00 on any plugs or spades unless your kit costs tens of thousands of pounds!
Here's something that might influence your decision:
The internal wiring in your speakers is only cheap copper wire so whatever you use (unless you re-wire your speakers) will be lost by the time it reaches the speaker drivers.
Get the cheapest connectors you can.
www.cpc.co.uk would be a good place to start.
