Cabeling/Instalation question

Hi,

Had NTL for years now in the house. Used to have the standard STB in the lounge that was connected via co-ax cable to the box on the wall & subsequently the box outside. We now have a V+ box.

When we had the broadband installed they ran a cable all the around the outside of the house (at my request) to install the BB on the PC in the conservatory.

My question is, seeing as we have a NTL/Virgin box at the front in the lounge and at the rear in the conservatory, if we wanted to install a 2nd STB box in the conservatory do you think it could be connected via the box in the conservatory thus making the install alot neater - Or are the BB & TV connection boxes different.

The connections are the same, when I had BB and V+ there was one cable and a splitter.
