You mean it gets better

The only bad comment about session one is the quality of the picture and it is in 4:3.

I'm looking forward to making my way through the sessions and trying out New York and Miami.

yeah it gets better as does the picture and sound - i think they threw more money at it after season 1 - and the titles change. :smashin:

Cheers Gary. Looking forward to the other sessions. Do you advise watching all of CIS and then moving on to New york or miami or is it not important.

    there are linking episodes

season 2 - towards the end is a link to Miami and i think season 4 has a link to NY.

i've not seen either as they aren't on dvd yest (or at least not at a reasonable price.)

www.csiguide.com will give you all the info you need :smashin:

I actually prefer CSI MIAMI. I think that is the only CSI series that I will actually buy on DVD. I dont like the way that they are split in to two box sets either. Is there a complete season 1 boxset of Miami avalable?

no Dave not here - the R1 is a whole season boxset. i dont mind the two boxes just not at £40 notes a pop.

£40 for the season is cool, but more than that is a real rip off. for TV shows i like to pay somewhere between £1 and £1.50 per episode. but i will pay more if i have too, depends on the show.

    Hi,

Season 1 of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" was never filmed in Widescreen, only in 4;3. However, all future seasons, from Season 2 onwards, were all filmed in 16:9 widescreen!

And yes, the show gets better and better, as it goes along! :smashin:

I checked up on this last night cheers for confirming. I guesed it would improve (pic quality) as the show got more popular. The same thing happened in SG-1.

    Dave :hiya:

I did a search but couldnt find a single boxset for miami. I wonder why they split them. Maybe its better for sales.

Did everyone keep the yellow band around the boxset???? I have been tempted to chuck it as it is a pain putting it on and off

    Gary :hiya:

Cheers for the link. I guess I will be on the second series sometime this week :D Nothing like as quick as your 24 performance :rotfl: :rotfl:

CSI Miami it is, I'm glad you said that as this is the series I want to see next.

Ok time to hunt around. Virgin Megastore which was in Epsom (near me) has now closed. I hadnt been there for 6 months and I was hoping to bag a few bargains and it has been replaced with a bloody Opticians. :suicide:

It should be against the law closing DVD retail outlets [IMG]

I can see these forums spending all my cash  :D

Now that I have seen a few episodes of CIS I can see where NCSI gets its ideas from. Not that is a bad thing.
