Just after some help for setting up a C-Band setup. I have an Echostar AD-300IP. I have a 1.3 metre prime focus solid steel dish so would I be able to cobble together a setup with a C-band LNB out of this or would I have to get a proper C-band dish?

    Matt.

    I assume you mean AD3000IP (not "300".

You could do it but you won't capture much with a dish that small :-(

A loook at various satellites with C-band and European beams on Lyngsat (www.lyngsat.com) will give you an idea. Click on the mentioned "beams" to see the footprint/signal strength.
