Is this is a good setup?

    Fronts - 601
    Rears - 600
    Centre - LCR60

I might be buying the above to replace my morduant short setup..

    Replacing MS908, 905c and 903.

Will there be a improvement with the sound? I know I need to demo the BW first.

    Thanks in advance.

I presume you mean the S3 B&W speakers, anyway i would say they are ok but you would need to add a sub as you will be limited with the Bass from the 601's.
I have not heard any MS speakers so could not give an opinion if they are any better than what you already have.

I don't think you can wrong with the 600 series B&W,a hell of a lot of sound for the price, tweeter a touch metallic, but a nice clean midrage, tuneful and enjoyable sound, sound great for AV too.

I would suggest looking at matching a better sub with those speakers, the B&W ASW675 would be a good match.
