Overall, I'm pleased with my JVC AV-28WFT1 TV, but it has recently started buzzing with a high frequency.
It only buzzes after it heats up. Strangely, it goes quiet when it gets no signal.
It really is more annoying than Jeremy Beadle.
    Any ideas please?

    Thanx, Matt

I'm no TV engineer but all I can say is "Mine doesn't" so it can't be right. Have it looked at before the warranty runs out.

Did here that the factory was infested with bees, the problem was they lay dorment in the TV untill the second half of july, then they become active and cause allsorts of problems. :D

    How old is the set?

If still under warranty call out the engineer.

If you have just had it delivered, i think you are within your rights to exchange within 14days if you are not happy.

    good luck bob

Thanks for all your help. The TV is about 4 months old now. I will definately give an engineer a whistle.

Another problem with my TV is that there is exaggerated warping on the edges of the screen when the picture is light.

    Anyone else experienced this problem?

Don't know how you've got your contrast and brightness set, try lowering them both especially the contrast ( ideally just under 50%), see if that helps, if not mention it to the engineer when he calls.
