Didn't really know where to post this so thought I'd ask here in GC.
I bought a bluetooth transmitter to broadcast audio from my amp to my bluetooth headphones.
It's this one:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07N1F7GXM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_SFyADbGQ1655J
So... I have it connected to the headphone out of my amp.
I'm powering it from the USB of a mini-pc.
When I listen to anything via the transmitter with the power supply plugged in I get an awful buzz. As soon as I unplug the USB cable the audio is crystal clear. Doesn't seem to matter where I power it from (PS4 USB/Amp USB/TV USB) the buzz remains.
So it's probably a ground loop issue.
I want the transmitter to be in a location that will make having to keep disconnecting the power annoying.
Any ideas how I can get rid of the buzz?
I've seen USB isolaters:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/GeeekPi-Is...7M72YQSC6KF&psc=1&refRID=8KYYVRD80YSD64SBH6HR
Would that solve it?
Or one of these:
