Buying Video Essentials DVD in UK

Hi,

Reading the articles in this forum I notice that several people have a DVD called video essentials for setting up systems.

I have had a look at the usual suspects (amazon, blackstar etc.) and the few who do list it say it is unavailable.

Where do I buy a copy?

Thanks

Graham

PS. Sorry if this is slightly off-topic.

Avia is another one that you could try. Bit more on different test patterns, which is what I use. Video Essentials is still very good though. Only down side, it and Video Essentials are both US titles. So you'll have to look under R1 titles.

All the best,

Dr John Sim.

I have both and find Avia the best .

Hi,

There is a new version of Video Essentials due out sometime (called Digital Video Essentials) in the (near) future. There will be a pal version available. Unfortunately, there have been some production delays with the disc (it was due last march) and no one is quite sure when it's going to show up.

Meanwhile...Avia is considered to be the better disc to use.... and you can always use the THX Optimiser test patterns on certain discs.
