Buying Overseas

Hi all,

Earlier this week had my player converted to Multi-regional and now ready to start ordering from around the world, but mainly R1’s.

Before I go ahead and start ordering I was wondering if any of you guy’s could give me a heads up about what to look out for when ordering from overseas sites.

Presumably, some sites are better than others for delivery time, cost, customs etc.

Are there sites I should stay away from and any pitfalls I should look out for?

Any help and suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks

I use DVDSoon.com, Canadian company who are slow but cheap. CDWOW are always good. Ordering single discs is unlikely to present any problems with customs. The bigger and more expensive the package the more likely you are to have to make a donation to your local C&E benevolent fund.

It might be worth having a look at the Recommended Retailers thread on here. Personally, I use DVD Soon and DVD Pacific.
