I bought a cordless drill online a few days ago. In the description is said supplied with drill, 2 batteries and charger. When it arrived it only came with the drill and charger??
What options have i got? The price was a lot cheaper than elsewhere (about the price of drill without the batteries :D )
Is the only option to send it back for a refund>

    Cheers John....

Contact them and ask them to send the missing items. If it's in the description then they should be included.

I would firstly contact the seller and ask why no batteries came with the drill, or is that too obvious?

I think they priced it wrong..... I don't think it should of included the batteries, but in the description it said batteries included.
Im guessing i will just have to return it..

Demand that they send you the batteries, a contract has been entered into, you have paid £££ based on what they advertised.
You are fully entitled to receive what you paid for.

Then that is their fault. If they have completed the sale then then they will have to honor the price including the batteries as per the description. The batteries may have omitted in error.

I just did not know if it worked the same as a item is mis-priced online and they don't need to honour the price..
So if they have posted the drill out they should supply the batteries as described in the description?
The store is closed till Monday, its local so i don't want to go down there and argue with them when I'm in the wrong :D

Actually, I don't think they do.

I believe that they can say it was a mistake, and that the description was incorrect. The fact that the price was lower than anybody else goes in their favour.

I would contact them, explain the issue and hope they send you the batteries. However, they may just ask you to return the item, or give you a discount on the price as a gesture of good will.

They could use that argument before the sale was completed. By accepting payment and supplying the goods they have entered into a contract to supply goods as described including batteries. As far as I am aware anyway.

I think you are wrong, a contract was made between the buyer and the seller, the items were advertised, and sold for a price, the price was paid, not all of the items have been received, that is a breach of contract.

Maybe i'm getting confused with when an item is mis described or mis priced, and it is spotted by the retailer after the order has been accepted, but before despatch.

OP - is the online price and description still available? - perhaps you could post a link to see how it's worded.
