I’m looking to buy a new widescreen TV, I was thinking about a 100 Hz model but having seen the picture quality of a Phillips pixel plus, I am now having second thoughts.
The picture was awful, focus was soft, did not look real & no detail, like the Divx movies you get off the internet. It was playing Lord of the rings on Phillips DVD player, I tried changing the scan modes & picture settings but it made it no better. The picture was nowhere near as good as my old 21” Hitachi C2186TN. So any advice on a good 100 Hz TV where the picture looks real.

    cheers Russ

There is a plethora of information on this forum, why not have a hunt through and remember that magazine reviews are not set in stone.

If you look at all the threads regarding TVs though, the overiding concensus is "YOU WILL SUFFER", so why not fork out a grand on drink and cheer yourself up.
