I hope your not thinking of keeping a game and returning the box.

I know that i would never replace a sealed game that i sold if i had a game shop. Even if there was not a disk you would feel the weight difference when you purchased the game.

It is quite difficult to understand by the weight difference because box will have booklet and other papers and disc are quite light weight anyway, IMHO box with disc will make little ratteling sound if you shake the box.

The shop would't have a record of whether it was sealed or not. It could happen, and statistically speaking, it does happen. If it does happen to you, just bring it back. They will exchange it as they return it as faulty and get credit.

I would, its happened to me quite a few times at game in Wakefield, especially second hand cube games, turned out they had a shady character working there!

Edit - Also i work at Global Vid as Job #2 and we do get a few Films and Games that are new and sealed and have no game in, but we get 100s a week, and it usually happens once every 2 months!

I bought a sealed copy of Band of Brothers on DVD and disc 4 was missing. Fortunately CD-Wow swapped it for me ao I was OK. It shows that (although rare) this sort of thing can happen.
