Sorry for some reason its created 2 threads, Mods feel free to delete one.

    Philips 47PFL9532 or Samsung LE46F86

Can anyone who has got either of these tv's or anyone that knows anything about them give me any advice on which to go for.

Buying from my local curry's or empire direct.
47 Philips is £1350 and the Sammy is £1450. The £100 doesn't really bother me as long as I get the best tv.

I was originally looking at the sony X3500 but the 2 above tv's seem a lot better value.

One question on the these tv's. DO they not have input for a pc? I have managed to see the back of the Philips and could not see an rgb input and looking at the review for the sammy that doesn't have one either. My M87 has one so I thought this strange considering the price of the new tv's.

    Any advice much appreciated.

Only reason I didn't consider the W3000 is because its at least another £200 more and doesn't have 100hz. I thought the 2 tv's I am looking at are more in line spec wise with the X range from sony so didn't consider paying more for the next model down the W series.

Does anyone have either the Sammy or Philips to comment?

Judging by a review of the F86 Samsung I read on HDTV test, it gave the impression that the 100hz implementation wasn't the best in the world and was switched off anyway!
