On the somewhat chancy Fleabay there is a reputable (well has good reviews) seller in Germany offering the 655 for just over £60 delivered and the 688 for about £80 delivered.

Is there any issues regarding buying German remotes? or will the Harmony internet setup sort these issues?

You can buy a 655 for £70 from Dixons! Apologies if you've already noticed this, I bought mine last week - love it...still not ironed out the niggles but it's a nice remote.

I susspect that they will be a +tax price as that is close to the trade price.

Great if you get away with it, but a pain if they hit you for the 17.5% VAT on importing.

    Hi,

I live in Germany and bought a 655 a couple of months ago. All the text on it is English and there was no problems setting it up, again all in English.
