Hi I am currently serving in the armed forces out in the UK. I have just bought a AVR3805 and will be getting a 3910 shortly. My question is is it worth me shipping one from the UK to my address out here (BFPO) so I dont have to pay VAT? If this isnt a good idea where is the cheapest I can get one and can I work anything so I get it cheaper whilst im out here. I dont want to buy one from out here incase it doesnt work when I get back or the wattage is different

    Thanks for and info

    John

If you are in Europe there will be no difference between a UK model and German/Dutch model bar the plug. Denon should support it when you return under the circumstances. If you are further afield then I am not sure if a BFPO address entitles you to a tax free purchase.
