    Hi,
Just ordered a region free blu-ray player from Amazon.co.uk. Been looking on Amazon.com for some region 1 blu-rays. Havent ordered anything from Amazon.com for a long time.

Can you still pre pay import tax?

    Yes.
If you try putting something expensive into your Amazon.com basket, you will see the charge
    ;)

No the 'Import fees deposit' is the charge for pre paying the import tax.
Just stick something expensive into your basket to test it for yourself...

Anything over £15 will automatically have the Import Fee added to the price, it used to be only with the expedited and priority shipping services but it covers them all now.

Will I have to pay import tax with the parcel arrives at my front door?

No! Amazon has already charged/taken the import tax (£11.51) from you. They will now automatically pay the import tax on your behalf when it arrives in the UK.
That's what the 'Import fees deposit' is
    :)
