What's everyones views on ex-display?

Seen an ex-display Sony kd55xe9305 for £1120 on the shop today and mighty tempted by it

I wouldn't bother personally it would have high mileage for a start.

Thats what I was thinking but with discount vouchers i'd be paying £1k & the sony rep said it would come with a full 5 years warranty

On display it will have been at high brightness plus it is Currys.

That’s what would put me off. TV on display are run at high brightness and contrast to make them stand out and attract the attention of potential customers.

If it hasn’t been on display for long that may not be such an issue but would the salesman know and if he did would he be trueful.

The warranty is fine but that is only good if something breaks not if wears out.

Cheers,

Nigel
