Buying advice

Hi Guys,

I've decide to invest in a blue ray player and I am a bit lost as to what to get!

Are PS3's still one of the best options for blue ray playback? Or should I just go for one of the cheaper stand alone players?

I was thinking of the Samsung BD-P1500-XEU, but I wouldn't mind paying extra for the PS3 so I can play games as well as watch movies!

Any pointers?

The PS3 is a excellent choice for Blu-ray if you fancy all the extras it has to offer Samsungs a nice player but it's going to struggle with games.

My only concern now is that the price may drop, don't wanna buy today and find the price has dropped in 3 weeks!

Would that be a PS3 price drop?

Yeah, with E3 coming up next week I guess I'll wait to see if Sony announce anything there before buying.
