Well I used to think Ebay was safe! But I always had the belief that if you couldn't afford to loose the amount of money spent don't bother.

Any how my EBAYING (since 2001) has been great with v.few problems. Any way recently won this item, paid for it, now the chap does not reply to my emails, and as far as I am aware had not sent the goods

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8183126483&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWN:IT&rd=1

He also is "no longer a registered user"???

So I would bother with EBAY, try a CANADIAN shop they seem to offer good deals

I'd never use eBay to buy or bid on an item that hasn't be released here yet and is highly anticipated down to it being such a quick an easy way for a con artist to use.
I'm kinda sceptical of those two eBayers because their Id's are 5 random letters. It looks like they're the same person too - looking at their items for sale - both use the same words in describing the PSPs they're flogging so I'd ask myself why someone would need to sell things under multiple accounts.
Feedback looks strange, but that's probably because they're getting feedback from Chinese bidders which will look like ??????? to use without the language plugins needed. All the same, though, it does look dodgy.

It may be more expensive, but using a company for this sort of purchase is really a must.

I did look at ebay, and emailed many sellers on there, but in the end decided I would go with a Company that I knew of.

In the end I used Movietyme, cost £214.99 including a game, which is higher than some, but at least I knew where it was coming from, and delivery was very good as well. Ordered Tues, at about 3pm, arrived today at about 8.55am. Now to go and play!! ;)

I got one for £155 delivered. The guy had a rating of over 17,000 (owned a Slot Car Racing Business). Arrived as promised, unused & with no dead pixels. Guess I must be lucky !

I got one with a game for £190 delivered - delivery took about 2 days from Hong Kong and the item was spot on! As long as you go with a reputable seller (not one of the above obviously dodgy ones) then you will be OK.

It's no different as in the real world really. Would you give someone in the pub that you knew very little about (perhaps just met) £150 - £200 for a PSP that he says he will pop over to your house tomorrow? Would you buy one off a good mate or someone that say your parents have known for years?

Just use common sense and if something looks dodgy then do not buy.

I bought of ebay. value pack inc R.Racers and p&p from Jap £200. no dead pixels.

As stated previously, do your homework, check the feedback and contact the seller. It took me 2 weeks to go with someone I was happy with.

Stick with it and I'm sure you'll be fine.
