Buy Samsung UE32B6000 or wait for new range

I have just about decided on buying the Samsung UE32B6000 (& a Jamo A102 speaker system), though have a couple of concerns remaining :

My existing DVD/Hard drive recorder is not HDMI - So I will have to use a scart to the 'mini' scart adaptor ... is there any issues with this approach ?

Dixons is currently (until Monday is selling for £599) ...but John Lewis my preferred shop is £750 with a 5 year warranty. Is there any 'high street' stores that JL would price match against ? to help bring the difference down (as there are some reviews about Dixons which are putting me off)

Finally the new Samsung range is out in March - will the price for this model drop ...? will there be a better replacement...

Any advice ? as now rather confused

Thanks for that... actually got the TV yesterday, JL were already price matching Currys at £699, so saved some of their standard price
