    Hi there,

I'm new to this site, and Dutch, so forgive me for not typing somethings right!?

I'm about to buy myself a sub, and i'm charmed with the Rel Quake (50 Watt).

Does anybody have any experience with this sub??

    Please share it!!

    My front speakers are B&W 602 S2.

    Thanks Jochem

The Rel Quake if I remember correctly is very similar to the REL QBass. Don't be put off by the 'low' wattage it's a good sub. There are a number of posters on this site who own and still really rate the Qbass / Quake.

How much are you paying - I presume it is second hand ?

Here is a link to Audioreview for the Quake

At first I was thinking of a Mordaunt Short, witch has a 120 watt amp. After that I was aiming for the Boston 600 witch has a 150 watt amp. These all cost near to €450.00 But......after listening and seeing that my room is not that big, I thought i had to go for yhe quality of the sound. So i came to the Rel Quake:) :D
