    Heres one for you guys:

Should I buy a Panny E-85 now (£370 for a multiregion) or wait several months for the new range of dvd recorders to come out?

If you wait you could end up waiting forever. There will always be something better on the horizon. The new models look great - and sound great - and probably will be great. But they are still 3-4 months away and, until we get them, who's to say they won't have some serious flaw?

Bottomline (IMHO) is that if a DVD recorder is available now that does what you want - at a price your happy to pay - then go for it. The E85 is a fantastic recorder and the arrival of the EH50 won't change that!

The one thing that would make me wait now is if a digital tuner (Freeview) was important. Having to deal with two boxes for timer TV recording is a hassle - External Link or not.
