It's not just about the refresh frequency it's the fact that 75/100Hz TV's digitally process the image before displaying it on screen.

That's bound to cause digital noise or blurring on poor signals.

I've tried two 100Hz TV's (Sony KD-32DX200 & Panny TX28PM12) and didn't enjoy the 100Hz digital experience at all. It's much less noticeable on a 28", but personally I couldn't live with it at 32"+

It's a very personal thing. Go look at some and then decide.

I cannot recommend the Toshiba 32ZP48 highly enough. Whilst accepting all of the above 'negative' points concerning the display of 100hz pictures, with this tv in the 'natural' mode (which is a 100hz mode) I find the results excellent. regards, yt.

Most 100hz TVs will have some side effects, some are better than others, just make sure you buy a good one.
