So technically it could be returned up until the final if unopened?
Technically I don’t know.
It does exclude the VAT though, however I think their money is pretty safe.
I wonder if anyone purchased one? Looking like quite a good deal now...
Wishful thinking, they haven’t beaten anybody actually good yet, they’ve just avoided being embarassed by lower ranked ones!
Also curious to see if anyone got on this?
Was/is there a link and are they still allowing the deal?
Wrong Forum I know, but this has been the lowest-standard World Cup in living memory, so we have every chance, unfortunately.
With some of the best matches I've seen personally...
Then you must be a mere whippersnapper!
My first WC was 1978. No one has particularly stood out in this tournament nor looked unbeatable. No Italy, no Netherlands and Argentina, Spain and Germany were all poor. We are the worst of the four teams left but still have every chance.
There's a theory that the CL has surpassed the WC in terms of quality and standard, and this year's tournament does support that argument.
And that is why it's been so good...Spain 3 Portugal 3, France 4 Argentina 3, any better games than that in world cups in your lifetime...oh and I can beat you by 2. 1970 would ha e been the first one I remember watching - the highlights mainly.
Italy and Holland- if you're not good enough your not good enough I'm afraid. No sympathy at all.
Some shops sold a lot:
TV shops to refund £200k if England win
Their money was always safe
Anyone here brought one expecting their money back?
