I Have recently brought a BUSH WS6674 28in widescreen tv from Safeway's for £197. The picture on the digital cable is good & i have no complaints with it. Unfortunatley the only connections are 2 scart sockets at the rear & i am unhappy with the picture from my Panasonic RV20 DVD player. I use to have it connected via s-video, but now have to connect via scart. There is now a lot of interference. The scart i am using is a cheap one & i would appreciate it if anybody knows if i would gain from splashing out on an expensive cable.

You may have a cable that only supports composite, that would be one reason, another could be that your player is setup to only output composite, try changing that before buying a new cable.
