I am unable to access the dvb menu only the analogue set up menu appears. There does not appear to be a button on the remote to switch between analogue and digital.

Do you have the original remote that came with the set when new or have you just acquired the set?
What is the number on the remote?

My customer has the original remote, i will call to get the remote number today.

the remote appears to be the original but has no number on it. My customer says its original and he could get digital freeview originally. The instruction book says go to set up then dvd tuning but set up only allows analogue tuning. no dvb tuning menu appears. It also says digital will be tuned on 1 to 899 and analogue on 900 to 999 but only analogue appears on 1 to 4 regardless of selecting higher numbers.

Possibly a corrupted eeprom Mike.

Many thanks for the info my customer is taking the cheapest option and adding a freeview box.

I had the same problem with my Daewoo DUB2850 TV - the digital tuner has to be accessed in a particular way, Daewoo issued a supplementary instruction sheet because of misunderstandings...

Bit late now, but I suggest a thorough read of the manual (I can't find it online to check for you).
