I, too, have just bought a Bush HD box (from Argos). Connected it via HDMI to TV and optical cable to amp (to get 5.1 sound). Excellent picture and sound on BBC HD. The SD picture on other channels is very good - sharp and clear.

The EPG is fairly plain but perfectly acceptable. Setup is easy.

:) All in all, I'm very pleased with my new box of tricks!

What is the SD picture quality like via HDMI? Is it nice and sharp?

TG:)

yeh, much better than freeview, all channels much sharper, colours are better, noticed a lot last night when sleepy hollow was on, could flick between freeview and freesat quickly and the pq was far superior on the freesat.
i am please too.
so where is itv hd then?
sound quality is also much better in dd. noticable during the bbc hd preview when glastonbury is on and later with jules holland etc..
the nature programs seem excellent.
in the football you can see more of the sweat on the playes faces!
would be a treat to connect it to my pj one day when something good is on!
:thumbsup::)
