Yeah, just played the demo and i love the custom Xbox360 car, very nice.

This game is fast madness to the extreme and sounds superb with the multi channel amp turned up.

    I like it!

I'm downloading it from the US market place right now. It seems quite a bit faster then downloading it from the UK market place which I just tried doing a bit earlier. Must be less people downloading it from the US servers at the moment.

This game= Played it all before...

It's no fun anymore. If you have Burnout 3 for xbox, don't bother...Yeah the sound is AWESOME, but the graphics nahh :thumbsdow its nice but no wow'er

The gameplay is old and this is one of those games that you play maby 2 3 times, then it gets repeating and boring...

I have Need For Speed, so I sure don't need another round of burnout.. Played out on Xbox..

what a load of rubbish mate.

I've had burnout 1, 2, 3 and now revenge. Its sensational on the xbox 360. The speed and graphics are incredible, the gameplay has been honed to perfection with this being the 4th incarnation of burnout and there is the online mode which is superb. I'm currently ranked 3800 in the world! Its so much fun online I ended up playing for about 3 hours. Go and buy the game now!

Im about 10% through Revenge after playing it for a few days. Ive had 2 versions of Burnout before, 1 and 3, and this is by far the best yet.

For me this game looks better than any yet on 360, including GRAW. Graphics are absolutely stunning and so is the sound and dodgy american music.

Only tried Multiplayer twice but it's a LOT of fun. I like it especially because no matter how good someone is, they always have a chance of messing up and crashing allowing crap players like me to catch up. Compare this to PGR where if someone good gets ahead at the start they will be ahead the whole race.

The way the game saves rivals etc is awesome. I played two different games where in the first some guy took me out and became my rival. Then in the second set of games he was highlighted as my rival, and I managed to take him out to "settle the score".

It's a lot of fun, possibly my favourite game on 360 yet.

Main downside is that sometimes it can be so fast that if you don't concentrate 100% you'll crash. I'd hate to have to play a game this fast in SD!

Is it just me - I can't see Burnout anywhere on the Marketplace for downloading. I've got a normal UK based Passport account.

I can see all(?) the other titles for download but not Burnout!!!

I feel like I'm missing out here :(:(:(

can you play the demo online? just wondered as i had revenge for the xbox and didn't think it was much of an improvement over its predecessors. however, racing online could be fun but i'm always a little cautious, what with cod2 lag issues and such.

The demo is offline only I'm afraid.

It's great fun, but I must say that graphically it's not a major step up from the XBox version which I already own. That's not to say it looks poor though (which it certainly doesn't), so perhaps it's more just a testament to just how well they got the original running on XBox.

Epicurus - you missed what was IMO the best version - Burnout 2!!

cooky007 - he was only stating his opinion mate. And having played the demo, I'd say his review sounds about right. It looks great and it's insanely fast but the gameplay in the demo seems very... bland. It's so typically EA; flood a game with silly moves and the like and give everything its own trademarked name, all the while taking the attention away from the most important element: the gameplay! A great example: you can't crash in to the back of anything!! How STUPID is that? IMO it does nothing more than remove a key component and challenge from the game. Oh wait, you can get a Traffic Check Revenge Takedown TM  Big f'in deal.

Rant over. Anyway, it seems online might be this game's saving grace. Now if only I can get some sucker to take my PDZ as a straight trade... :)

Not quite true, you can't check larger vehicles such as buses and lorries so that adds an element of skill.

Revenge is one of those marmite games, you either love it or hate it. I'm a big fan and think this is better than 2 (which was better than Takedown.)

VIPEN - no online lag issues with this game (that I've come across.) There are the occasional connection problems getting into a game but once in it runs as smooth as silk.:smashin:

Looks like Need for Speed with different cars. Didn't like it at all. I prefer Burnout 2 on the xbox to this. Pants :thumbsdow

I bought the game last week and it surprised me a bit because i wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as i am with the new traffic checking.

In my eyes it just pure arcade balls out fun, Smashing other cars into your mates on LIVE is a right giggle :D

I think the tracks are the best in the series with lots of short cuts, and oppitunites (pillars/builings/cliffs etc...) to takeout your fellow racers.

I know it's not a deep game that is going to take weeks of mastering, but it never aims to be. I think it delivers just what you expect for this type of game . . . . fun!!

Loved the previosu BurnOut games, but downloaded this last night and was not that impressed.

Sound of the engines is great, but graphically it seems to be a HD version of the Xbox from the rather limited (and rather bland?) level on the demo.

A mate has bought the full version - so I'll see what that it like this weekend - but first impressions are that it might be one to pick up off eBay/Pre-owned later for the online play.

I will add that there is no real "depth" to this game. It's all about immediate gratification for people like me with short attention spans and who need games to immediately impress us or we lose interest!

So anyone who has fond memories of old arcade games which were all about pick up and play simplicity and in your face graphics and sound effects will love this.

To me the traffic checking was an essential change, I can imagine when playtesting this they suddenly realised they had made it so fast that 90% of people would get fed up trying to play a game where every ten seconds they had crashed because they keep hitting people up the ass.
