burning dvd/cd

Hi,
how do i burn a dvd/cd on my xp PC that will play on my Sony HXD870, will it have to be a data dvd/cd, as i want to use it in photo album, do i have to burn them in a certain speed or something. thanks in advance for any help,

Yes, you will need to create a data DVD or CD.

It shouldn't really matter what speed you burn your disks at.

I believe XP has a built-in disc burning feature but there are several other programmes out there which you can use if you want to try something else. Nero is just one example.

Try ImgBurn. It's a freeware program & clever enough to burn the CD/DVD in the correct format for what's on the disc. Best not to use the XP routine though.
