    just placing my order now.

Just read the description, its PAL encoded R0 so Looks as if people with R2 locked players should be OK with it, DDDHouses info has been known to be wrong though.

Be warned that the DTS track is Mandarin only.

It does have a 2.0 English track but it's said that the print is very, very poor.

I've had mine for a couple of weeks and the English track isn't even listed in the audio menu, just Mandarin in 2.0, DD5.1 and dts. Apparently the film defaults to English audio (not on my player:mad: ) or you can select it as "audio 4" on your handset (not on my player:mad: ).
Unfortunately mine defaults to mandarin, and as there isn't a listing for English you can't get it to play in English with the handset as it won't allow "on the fly" audio changes, it has to be done on the menu. At least it does on my player - kind of difficult when there isn't the option there.

It does look pretty cruddy, too. I've seen similar bootlegs that were copied in the cinema. The print seems too dark, overly grainy, it's still got the "cigarette burns" for the reel changes, and there's a lot of jitter. None too impressive, on the whole. Not that I'd have minded if I could get the thing to at least play in English

This film has had a rough ride in the Far East due to the priate version available before the film was actually finished.

This was a rushed dvd release to probably recover some money for the distribution company and I'm sure they'll release a quality dvd to satisfy those who want a quality release in the near future.

I guess it's one way to make people pay for the same film twice.

Rambo John J. Im quite happy with my cheap bargain of £8.00 of BPM the only problem is as stated you have to select Dolby 2.0 from the menu and your machine has to decode AC3 (Which most players dont), Glad I have my trusty Samsung 709 which is beginning to pack in :( (Hope I can get it repaired as there aint a player quite like it).

Anyway hope this helps. Ensure your machine plays AC3 and select option 2 from the audio setup menu.

That's odd, there's 3 audio options on the disc and they're all mandarin - stereo, DD5.1 and DTS so whichever one I select I get mandarin. I've read elsewhere the English track is audio option "4" and isn't even listed on the menu.
    Weird:confused:
Well whatever happens I can't get English from it with my current player. Never mind.

another reason why I dont buy HK movies anymore..I dont remember seeing a decent quality disc..ast one being Face-Off which had pants image IMO..
Maybe it's me, but I just feel that most of the R3 and R0 stuff from HK is 'hooky'..
