I wonder if anybody has owned a LCD/DLP long enough to need a new bulb yet?.

Although my Tosh bulb is very new, i want to start looking now to make sure when the time comes i can get one cheap/fast!.

    Any suggestions welcome.

Also has anybody had bad service on there projectors or bulbs etc.

when replacing bulb on my Sim300 plus DLP, I checked out the Internet and they were not any cheaper.

Went through a Sim dealer for about the same money

Bulb lasted the projected 6,000 hours in 3.5 years.

I didn't realize how much quality I had lost until I saw the new bulb.

    Was like a different projector.

Now I wish I had changed at 5,000 hours

I have a PLV-Z2 and recently bought an original replacment lamp from Pricejapan.com. £148 delivered, whereas the best on the web was £240. Paid via paypal from my account, goods arrived in 3 days. No taxes either. I was naturally nervous about buying from abroad but the saving swayed me. Excellent service.
