how long do bulbs last on average.
Well, my first one lasted close to 8000 hours in my Toshiba 52mw48 DLP set. Second lamp was 'bad' and replaced by Toshiba.
I've got the Sony KDF-E50 3LCD RPTV. Sony quote 8000hrs for the bulb.
My lamp counter says 230hrs for my first months viewing, so at that rate
the bulb should be good for about 3 years.
When it goes I'll get a new one (about £100-£150) and the set will be back
to a nearly brand new picture.
Has anyone bought a Samsung SP46L6HX bulb? If so, how much, and where did you get it from?
Contact Samsung using this - link. They'll tell you about suppliers near you that sell the lamps.
