A couple of years back we claimed for some (relatively) minor subsidence on our insurance. We renewed at the time with the same insurer as the claim was still open.
Last year the claim was settled and we renewed again thinking they would have added the claim on. When looking at the renewal for this year I can see that in fact the renewal for the past year did not have the subsidence claim on, which I am presuming makes the insurance invalid?
The provider won't seemingly insure with subsidence (I did a new quote). Is it worth talking to them or should I be going elsewhere?
Lastly, can anyone recommend an insurer they've used where they have subsidence? I expect to be paying more but finding providers is seemingly tricky.
