I am going to build a new small sealed sub for music use only.
I Need help deciding on the driver unit I have narrowed it down to either a Peerless 12 inch model XLS12 830500 or TC Sounds 10 inch Epic.
Wondered which would be best for music and would appreciate opinions.

They make good drivers but are typically more costly as they use more technology to try get more performance from smaller drivers that will work in smaller cabs. I would almost never use a TC sounds driver myself. Even the big 18" drivers are focused on super clean output, but good spls in smaller cabs, so if you dont need a very small cabinet, then there is no reason to choose them IMHO.

In this case, the TC sound and the peerless driver are roughly equal in output, and work in about the same sized cabinets (15-20 litres) in sealed enclosures. So, I would simply choose the driver with the largest surface area, which would be the peerless driver.
