    Hi all,
This is my first post, and I've learned alot from surfing around here and other forums... I'm basically trying to build myself a nice HTS 5.1, for my apartment. I'm trying to figure out my speakers/sub arrangement. My budget is ~1500 USD. I need to get a Sub and Front Speakers and Center Channel.

I've taken the first steps and here's what I have so far:
    a. Yamaha RX-V2500 A/V Receiver
    b. (2) B & W LM1's-- was planning to use these as the rear

    Here are my questions:
    a. does it make sense to just get 3 VM1's, and forgo a dedicated center channel?
    b. I don't know what subwoofer would go with them. Keep in mind, I can probably spend around 600 USD, if I get 3VM1's.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Was also thinking of getting a B & W MATRIX 805 HTM as the Center Channel, with two VM1's as Front/L&R. Anyone have any feedback?

Is this overpowered to the front, and not balanced?

Unfortuantly most the members of this forum are based in the UK and therefore are probably not aware of the US$ prices for kit (or the potential variances between UK and USA spec models)
