    Hey all,

Thinking of building myself a pc but dont know where to start.

The only thing i know is that i like i the X-Blade case.

Could a few people post their opinions on what pc they would build with £450 that i have to spend.

If you could give details of all the components and prices and a total price it would cost me.Would i build a gaming system for that money ?

And lastly is this a better option or any good for the money ?

i can suggest that you remember that hd-dvd/blu-ray are coming out eventually, so best to bear that in mind

if it was me, i'd get a not too pricey startup system (diy or shop bought) and think of it as a gradual evolution process, there are many components that should be upgrade-proof however, such as decent (quiet) power supply, good quality or fancy connectors - i've got these real nice looking braided ide cables - should be okay for years and years

also a good case with room to grow is a fair investment

i also have, and love the zalman cooler here... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Zalman_121.html
