That PSU is overkill for that system, unless you are planning on SLI.
I agree. And why not go coffee lake? Get a lower spec PSU and save yourself £50 and put that towards the i7 8700K
The 6 core 12 thread will future proof your system. A lot of games and now taking advantage of multi thread (Battlefield 1 for example) and I see no reason why you would not go for one
 
You can drop a couple hundred watts on that PSU.

I would also go the coffee lake route since they are just released, also if you can hold off for the friday / christmas sales you can save a nice bit as well.

My budget is a £1800 i am doing a complete build.

Is that just the tower or do you need extras like Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor ?
