Building a media center

Standard Member
Hello folks, i plan to build myself a media center. Along side it i will have an AV amp.
As i intend to use an AV amp am i right in thinking i will not need a media case with volume control or a remote control.
I will be using my ATX motherboard from my current pc so will need a fairly big case. I have had a look at some but would appreciate some of you ideas.

If your connecting to an amp then your htpc case will not need a volume control as your amp will control the volume.

You may still need a remote control but that depends on how you want to control the media center, i use a mce remote which works perfectly for watching blu-rays and other media files.

I currently use this case, does a great job and also looks good.
