Hello,
As the title says we are slowly building a 7.1.4 setup at home.
We are coming from a NAD C388 with SA Saxo 70 Setup, which I really like. I want to get the T778 with the C268 to run 9 channels.
I am only wondering about stereo capabilities. Would it make sense to keep the C388 and run the stereo speakers through it and the pre out of the T778 for better Stereo quality or would the AMPs of the 778 be able to handle them in a stereo scenario just as well? And can I hook up all sources on the 778 and still benefit from the C388s stereo capabilities?
I am asking because I don‘t have to sell the C388 and selling to right now is in my opinion under value. Only if it wouldnt make sense to run both I can justify selling it with a loss.
What do you think?
So the rig would eventually be a C388 with 2 front speakers, that one hooked up to an T778 with the remaining channels and height 2 channels run with an external C268 stereo amp.
