Looking to forgo the cost (and wait) of ordering one of these guys. I've got several old monitors that I can rip off the VGA cable from and would like to add my own RCA connectors to them to make such a cable. I've seen pinouts on several sites, but I'm unsure exactly which cables need to be used out of all of these, and I want to connect my X1 to an HD ready Time Warner cable box. In the VGA cable, there are three thick colored cables, (red, gray, and blue), each one having an inner core, and a bunch of thin cables... is there any reference on exactly what needs to be used here to make this cable?

Thanks!
Larry
