How is it too slow as a media server? Would it be no good if I linked plex to it as a server?

 

That's what I tried to use it for, it may have been the Ethernet switch I was using but it took ages to transfer files over to it and kept stuttering when playing files (1080p MKVs). I think it would be better suited for backups maybe?
