I was thinking for my money either this one CLICKME which is a 32 but the gf likes the stand/cabinet or the 28" one HERE

Is the 32 really worth getting as it looks to come with a better stand STAND

Or is there something better i could get for that amount of money?>

Seeing as its a upgrade from a 21" tv anything is better:)

I already have a Tosh 220e and a amp speakers etc.

i was hoping to get one of them sony tv's from richer, the kv28fq75 but after reading about all the problems people here had i think i had a lucky escape.

All opinions and recommendations welcome

Cheers guys:)

As far as a good quality "budget" 28 inch(50hz) is concerned I've always been impressed with the Panasonic TX28PL1.The picture is superb and I'd recommend looking at one to see if it suits your taste(Currys and Dixons both stock it).The Toshiba's you're looking at have had unfavourable things said about the geometry.

Shop around and you can pick up the Panny for about £460.

For me, 28" is too small.

Remember, your widescreen picture will be showing 4:3 from time to time (I hope), which is equivalent to around a 22" screen or less...

Try to get a 32" solution of you can...

Well richer are sposed to be getting more of them SONY 36" ers that have had the fix to stop the bars. I might take a risk and get one of them as for the price its to good:) And if its still got bars i will get a refund
Thanks for the advice to newbee people
