My friend is buying a Yam DSPAX620 amp and will have a budget of probably £300 ish for a surround speaker setup that needs to be reasonably discrete? Tall order for the money so suggestions please?

Have a look at the new(ish) Mission budget range, the m7 ones. for £300 try a m71, m7c1, m7ds combination. This range has been very highly rated and well put together.

Have there been any reviews on the
    M7c1 or the M7ds ???

Or does anybody have these to compare against the Tannoy Mx speakers.

    Hi,

Why not consider the "BRAND NEW" Celestion AVP100 system, this comprises of 5 x AVS101 and a hefty 100 watt active S8 subwoofer, the sats are available in stylish white with green grille or conventional black finishes. It will retail for £300 all in and is a real contender for similar sub/sat packages around this price point.
Merely a suggestion, your ears will make the final decision.

    Best Regards

    Ron
