Hi just starting to get into this web site and now cant decide on what to buy have about a grand maybe more and would like a decent set up any ideas

We would need a bit more to go on! What equipment do you have to connect up? How big is the room? Will the system be used for music and movies? What exactly is the budget for? AV Receiver & speakers? Bluray player?
