budget prog scan player advice please

    Im waiting on delivery of a tosh 57wh36 rear pro tele that has pal prog component inputs,just bought a denon av amp , have the speakers , all i need now is a good pal prog scan dvd player for under 150,about 100 would be great.

    having a quick look the yammy s540 looks pretty good for 100 smackaroonies

    any other dvd players you guys can suggest ? ( pref black too.. )

    most dvd's i own are pal.

    consider Sony 730. it has a much better deinterlacer than Yamaha. check both tested here . unfortunately in German. lower values are better.

    HK DVD2550 £250, Denon 2800 were cheap a while ago but had a few issues,
    Depends if you want PAL Prog? HK does but Panny S75 is NTSC PS and Interlaced PAL also plays Ram discs if you are considering a DVD recorder.
