Budget gaming PC

Looks fine to me - make sure you have a decent 450W+ PSU to power the graphics card.

the case is bundled with a cooler master 500w PSU, I was mainly wondering if the graphics card and processor could handle current games and would be future proof for a few years.

That PSU is only 70% efficient which means it will be generating a lot of excess heat - personally I would look elsewhere for an 85% efficient PSU.

thanks, ive changed the op and added an extra possible upgrades section, these should future proof my pc for longer for an extra £100. my only question now is the 3rd gen i5 ive picked is ivybridge, will the motherboard ive picked be compatible?

thanks

The motherboard is compatible but will need a BIOS upgrade to the latest version - it may not boot with the 3rd gen cpu and may need a BIOS upgrade first with a Sandy Bridge cpu installed.

that may be a problem as i dont own a sandybridge processor, is there a way around this?
