Hello. I recently bought a Marantz PM7005 and wanted to pair it with the best possible floorstanders my budget can afford. I currently have Dali Zensor 1s and I really like their tonal balance so I've been looking at the Dali Zensor 5 as a ''safe'' upgrade option. As far as I can understand, Marantz amps boast a warm sound signature so ideally I'd like to pair it with something neutral. The Zensor 1s are definitely neutral to my ears. I'm not a fan of big bass by any means and have always find the Z1's bass perfectly adequate for my liking. My budget is around £500 for new or used options so any advice is welcome. Many thanks in advance for your recommendations!
Thank you so much for your insight. I have also looked at those. However, I'm under the impression that I've read somewhere they are colored but I might be wrong.

I have the Monitor Audio silver 6's in black. (Mine were new and about £700 though) I tried various Zensors and Monitor Audio options before buying. The Dali's sounded great to be fair. I preferred the sound from the The MA's but there wasn't much in it. I'm not sure how either pair up to the Marantz though so I'd be looking into your nearest Hi-Fi store and ask to demo a range with the PM7005. I had my heart set on the Dali's until I tried several options.
Thank you very much for your input. Today I received the amp and upon pairing it with my Z1s it sounded very good, however, lacking just a hair of bass. That only goes to show that my previous entry level microHfi system (Denon UD-M31) was colored and rather a bass monster. as it made the Z1 outputting bass but at the cost of resolution.. So the amp part was the culprit of my previous system. That said, I could pair the PM7005 with a good musical allarounder floor-standing option without fearing it will suffer from overbearing bass.
