    Hello everyone,

I am looking to purchase a budget av amp up to around 250 quid.

Aside all eth usual fautures it would be nice to have pro logic 2 - ive just been reading about this and if it converts a TV signal to surrouns sound then i definitely want it... i like sound from teh rear and my odl amp only gave this on dvd's

also a master delay button woul be nice as with my plasma I sometimes experience noticeable sych problems of a few frames or so

teh obvious contenders seem to be the Yamaha 630 and eth marazntz but not sure if they have a delay and/or PL2 ?

One last thing, its to be used with the acoustic energy aego sub+sat system so must be compatible.

    any reccomendations appreciated

    regards

    Rich

I thought the Aego system was self powered, ie you don't need an amp?

    Or is this a replacement?

I'm not sure how compatable a receiver like the 630 will be with those speakers.

Last time I checked only the sub in Aego sub-sat package was powered. Try asking in Speakers and Subwoofers if you want to know more.
